The December challenge at the Paper Sweeties Blog is the below photo board:
Here's the card I'm submitting as my GDT card. My Sweetie's name is Abigail.
My card is composed of dies by Sizzix, Spellbinders and Cheery Lynn and punches from Martha Stewart and EK. The Sweeties (and there are diecuts for the Sweeties, too, so you don't have to fussy cut them yourself) are HERE and the boutique is HERE. Meanwhile there are other products from the Paper Sweeties that you will find fabulous. I colored Abigail and her clothes with Copics and used flock on her cape and earmuffs. A girl has to stay warm and it's chilly outside as you can see from her cheeks and red nose! Here's a close up of my image and you can see the glitter and snow I've added to the background of Abigail and on the tree. Doesn't her cape look cozy warm?
I'd like to say thank you to Debbie and the Team for picking my easel card as the winner in the October challenge and giving me the opportunity to be their Guest Designer for December. It's been an honor and I've enjoyed making this card for the Paper Sweeties Blog. Click on the blog link and be inspired by the Design Team's projects and I hope you will join the challenge for December!
Hugs,
Gail

I love all the detail too. Fab card Gail. x
ReplyDeleteAwww...Abigail is so adorable in her winter outfit! Love the die cuts, paper, embossing and sweet bow! Thank you so much for being the guest designer for Paper Sweeties!:-)
ReplyDeletePerfect take on the color challenge, which I find is usually hard to do . . . of course, her cape and muffs had to be furry to keep her all that much warmer -- terrific idea !! The lace, the bow, the bits of holly make it all the more awesome. You certainly put your "win" to fantastic use!!
ReplyDeleteGail, this is absolutely darling! I love all the details you added to your design to make this card shine! The cape and ear muffs on sweet Abigail are just perfect for this month's challenge at Paper Sweetie :)
ReplyDeleteGail this is precious and sweet and perfect approach to the inspiration photograph! Happy to have you designing with us this month!
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely, I really like the tree and reindeer, what a clever idea with the felt for her wrap, nice work Gail
