The challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' this week is "Winter Animals". Well, guess what...in Phoenix, Arizona, with temperatures still over 105, I imagine my winter animal is trying to cool off with the rest of us.
This Bugaboo image struck me as the perfect image for my card. There's no denying he's a winter animal, but I think he's having a blast enjoying some summer fun! I colored him with a black Sharpie and then used Copics for the rest. There's a bit of blue ink on the bottom of the clouds with a tiny bit of glitter, along with glitter on the waves, the sun and on the Nestabilities oval frame around the image.
The sponsor at the Christmas at Sweet Stampin' challenge is Quixotic Paperie who has donated a £10 voucher! As you can see, I've added a little different angle to this challenge with my "Winter Animal" enjoying the summer. As long as your image is a "Winter Animal", let's see what you can come up with.
Thanks for stopping by and leave a message so I can visit your blog!
Hugs,
Gail
