Spots and Stripes

This week the Sweet Stampin'  Challenge is Spots and Stripes. I was given the image of Gus the Butterfly by SK Digis, the weekly sponsor. I hope you like Gus since he is truly adorable and I can see him on many cards for kids. When my card is closed, this is how it looks.

 Then as you open it, you can see how Gus is actually mounted on the card.

And here's the inside of my card.

Gus is colored with Copics and his wing dots and legs are highlighted with black Stickles. I mounted Gus on the inside of the card with a Wobble and cut a circle just a bit larger than he is in the front of the card so he shows through. I used some rickrack and ribbon along with a button in the center of the bow in front and then inside duplicated the idea but put the ribbon Sunny Days on the inside.
