It's a new month and time for a new challenge at
Craft-Dee BowZ. The challenge this month is
ANYTHING GOES AND ADD A HANDMADE BOW! My card this month is watercolored with Peerless Watercolors. I often forget I have this wonderful coloring medium as Copics seem to be my first grab, but I do adore watercolor pictures and thought I'd give it a try. I might have to reconsider my favorite coloring medium since I love the blending I was able to achieve with the watercolors! I used this perfect image by
Beccy's Place for my card.
I hope that those of you who look at this post can see what I see and what I attempted to show...that no matter how bleak or dreary it is or how tough times are right now, there is a light shining out there for each of us.
And here's the bow. The ribbon is wrapped around my image outlined in black and I made a triple looped bow. Thank you, Donna at
CDB, for providing the ribbons I use each month. This blue ribbon tied absolutely beautifully and is the one and only embellishment on this card. My
bow tool is the most wonderful
tool I own and I keep it right next to my work table since I use it so often. I can make so many different sizes with ease and every single bow comes out wonderful!
