Hello and welcome to April 2020! We have a new challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ this month and it's ANYTHING GOES!
I bought a new snow globe die a while back and noticed it the other day still in the original package! And regardless it is April 1, it's still chilly here in Kentucky so I decided to go ahead and use my new die with this adorable colored image by Fred She Said named "Nuthatch". I made a snow globe shaker card and like how this came out.
I used a pine tree bough die, a border punch of snowflakes and an embossing folder of snowflakes along with the snow globe die. I kept with cool colors for my card and used a white iridescent glitter inside my snow globe.
Here's a close-up of the image and bow. I shook the glitter down for this picture so you could see this beautiful image better. My bow is a triple looped bow using my bow tool and you can see how nice it came out!. My bow tool hangs by a ribbon on a hook within reach since I use it for all of my bows.
Our sponsor this month is Fred She Said. Fred She Said Designs offers a wide variety of digital products with a floral flair and cute characters too -- Digi's, Pre-colored Images, Paper Sets, Fred's Flower Kits and even digital cutting files. Have some fun with Fred! The winner of this challenge will receive a $10 gift card to their store!
I hope you'll join us this month at Craft-Dee BowZ for our new challenge and we look forward to seeing your entries!
Your card is gorgeous, Gail! I love the idea of the bird inside the snow globe! Thank you for inspiring! Hope you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.
