For my card I used this adorable stamped image from Wild Rose that I've had for years now. My goal for 2016 is to use some of these fabulous supplies I have.
The doily die cut is by Cheery Lynn, the cream colored metal frame with the word 'LOVE' in it is from Stampin' Up and I put tan colored Skittles in the left side corners. I used an "Around the Page" punch set from Martha Stewart for the shape of my card.
I colored my image with Copics and added a touch of glitter to my little image's collar and ruffled sleeves. Those jeweled butterflies are from Queen & Co, but I added the pearl and the twisted wire antennae. And those mauve/purple crystal jewels down in the corner of the image are from Michael's.
My bow is a double loop and I slid an extra piece of ribbon within the knot and then notched all 4 tails. I glued the button in the middle...I love bows with a charm, button, flower...anything in the center. I think it dresses up the bow a bit. This bow was simple to make using my Craft-Dee BowZ tool. If you don't have a bow maker, you need one and this one is the most economical, easiest and is small enough to hang within your reach while you're crafting. Take a look at the video library and see how easy it is to use! The library has videos on how to make a bow with extra tails and double loops, like I've done. And if you have any doubts, scroll down the list of videos and see our demo of an 8 year old making her first bow. Yes, even an 8 year old can do it!!
Our sponsor this month is Cute As A Button who has donated two digital images of the winner's choice as the prize! Have you seen Francesca beautiful art work? Take a look here.
Hugs,
Gail
Such a pretty card Gail, I have a fondness for WRS stamps. I was recently given a bow maker and have been practicing, so I shall check out the videos....i love the additional ribbon to give four tails.
