Pink pink pink!

There's a new monthly challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge Blog for October and it's ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HANDMADE BOW. Sound familiar? Well, it should if you've been to Craft-Dee BowZ Challenge Blog before since it's the same topic every month making it pretty easy for you to remember and enter!

Do you have a color that you like to use a lot?  I have so many 'favorites' that it's hard to pick just one color, but the range of pinks that are available in paper, embellishments and coloring mediums is probably one of the largest. If anyone doesn't like pink, please squint your eyes starting now.

I bought this rubber stamp image and sentiment from Rubbernecker at the Spring Convention in Mesa, Arizona this past March. I saw the image and thought it reminded me of my youngest sister (Dawn) who is an avid shopper and comes home with BAGS of clothing that she got for pennies on the dollar. She's a fabulous shopper and if there's ever a contest for the person who can get the most for the least, she'll win. I've gone with her a couple of times and come home with fabulous clothes, great shoes and tired feet.

I used my brand new Die-namics frame die on this card and the die cut I used on my image is from Spellbinders. That's a Magnolia border die up the side on top of a piece of pretty lace (that's hard to see in the photo), and I layered a strip of pearls that I got from Ribbon Girl. (Aren't they so pretty!)  I colored my image with Copics and then I used my Sakura glue pen and sprinkled iridescent glitter by the Rubber CafĂ© on the shopping bags. A girl can never have too much sparkle!

And here's my bow. The ribbon was sent to me by Donna at Craft-Dee BowZ with two other kinds of ribbon to play with this month, and I'll be using all of them on my cards in October. All are pink and will go great with my goal to use lots of pink this month. The ribbon has glitter on it and using my Craft-Dee BowZ tool, you can see below how nice the bow came out!

You probably know what I'm going to say next, but since this is a new month or you might be new visiting me, I'd like to remind everyone that the challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ for October is ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HANDMADE BOW. The Design Team here at Craft-Dee BowZ is small so it won't take much time to look at their fabulous creations and, hopefully, inspire you to enter the challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ!

                                                                                   Hugs,
                                                       Gail
