I colored my image with Copics and used Glossy Accents to make the paint look wet. I used EK punches for my sentiment, the oval dies are a nesting set by Quic Kutz, and the fence is a die by My Favorite Things. There's a brass buckle at the top corner that I wrapped the baker's twine around and on the bottom is a brass corner that I added a few dark blue rhinestones. The brass pieces are from Stampin' Up.
Poor Jack had to paint this old worn fence during his summer vacation and you can see he's gotten a bit too much sun on his back! And his friend, Bushels, is smart enough to stay out of the way of that paint!
Thank you, Laurigami, for inviting me to be your Guest for this challenge and thank you to the Design Team for their nice comments about my card. I hope you'll visit Paradise of Stamps and see the awesome projects made by the Design Team to inspire you to join in this BOY challenge.
Hugs,
Gail
A cute (or maybe I should say handsome) masculine card and it makes me smile. Your coloring is superb - love the dog, as well as his sunburned back - you always add those thoughtful touches like that. The fence looks spectacular and I'd swear the paint still looks wet, as if it was JUST applied. Perfect background paper and embellishments!
ReplyDeleteOh how adorable! Such a cute little chap, and his oh so gorgeous dog!
