Peace!

Hello, and welcome to the September challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ!  Our challenge this month for you is ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HANDMADE BOW.  I used this adorable hippy image from Saturated Canary that I purchased in February of 2013 (my images are dated on my thumb drive of when I purchased them) and have had in storage on a thumb drive. Unfortunately, a vast number of never been used images are on my thumb drive!

 

I love the bright and cheerful colors of this card and my papers are from Doodlebug. This is my favorite layout because it gives me a chance to use two printed papers and by putting my image on the side, I can put my flowers, bow and sentiment on the other side, so that I feel it looks balanced. I love birthday cards that have a small sentiment on the front, too, and then a nice birthday saying inside.

 

My image is colored with Copics and I added some Wink of Stella on the flowers in her hair (but it doesn't show up in the photo).  That cute little butterfly is a punch by EK and I added some iridescent glitter but it photographed opaque looking while it really isn't!  The oval nested die set is by QuicKutz and the larger pink die cut around the image is by Spellbinders.  My pearls and jewels are from Queen & Co (my fav store for sparklies).  The large pink and turquoise daisy jewel in the corner is one from a package given to me by Donna at Craft-Dee BowZ and was a perfect fit with this card.

 

 

 

The bow was made on my Craft-Dee BowZ tool and is double looped. The metal charms were silver and I colored them with Copics. Thanks, Donna at Craft-Dee BowZ, for the pink jeweled flowers, the ribbon and charms!  My daisies are from Wild Orchid and the leaf tucked among them is a die by Marianne.
