Here kitty, kitty!

It's a new weekly challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog. Our Topic for today is RIBBON AND/OR LACE. Go ahead and challenge yourself to use both on your card!  I used this very cute image of my daughter putting a tiara on her kitty, Allie.  Just kidding, but I swear that our fabulous sponsors, Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter, created this image with my daughter in mind! This image is named Oh My! and the face on the kitty says it all!  The challenge over at As You Like It asks if you prefer feathers or fur. This is an easy one for me since I have 2 beagles and 3 cats...it's fur for me!

I had this lace and ribbon in my stash and they were absolutely perfect with this card. I used 2 different laces, the bow is different from the piece across the page with the ribbon threaded through it. The pretty peach dot in the center of the bow is a brad with the legs cut off and glued on. For my tiara I used glossy accents and then sprinkled Warm Glitter Ritz on it so the "diamonds" are raised a bit. The 3 self-adhesive sparkly dots on the side are on a sheet of multi-color ones made by EK Success and the sentiment is a very old stamp by Hero Arts. I used a Taylor Expressions die cut swirl and fine gold glitter paper. The butterfly die is by Poppy and is a stacking die with the filigree die and a solid back butterfly. I coated the filigree butterfly with my glue pen and Warm Glitter Ritz for sparkle. And although the photos aren't showing it very well, I applied Clear Wink of Stella to the hearts on this sweeties' pants and headband. Can't have enough sparkle!

I was inspired by the colors below at [pin]spirational
