Pretty and Sweet

There's a new challenge today at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  We'd like to see you use some CIRCLES--we want to see round shapes on your creation and pearls, gemstones, flowers, buttons and things like that do not count as circles.  I used this very sweet image named I Miss You from The Paper Shelter.


I colored the image with Copics, and used my Quik Kutz nested circles to cut out the layers. The aqua die cut behind the image is by Joy.  The butterfly is also by Joy and the 3 rhinestones are from my stash; the sentiment is by Whimsy and I used my round punches to cut it out and the aqua circle behind it. The lace is from my stash and I love it because it's made to thread ribbon through it. I made my stickpin and pushed it through my bow.

    This is a darling card, Gail . . . I love the colors you've chose for her and the eye shadow just gives her that elegant, exotic look. Fabulous lace, bows, stickpin, diecuts, butterfly, rhinestones - this card has a bit of all those special magical touches you do on your creations. Absolutely darling and striking. And, I think this gal still looks like your daughter, with her pixie-ish look.
