This die is from Stampin' Up and is a Sizzix die. I ran the red paper through an embossing folder and then overlayed the heel and toe (stamped with SU snowflakes with white ink) and top of the stocking. AFTER I glued the top of the stocking I realized I did it inside out. Geez. You can still see the stitching, but darn it. I hate when this stuff happens! The sentiment is by SU. The holly leaves are made of felt and those are big red wood beads representing the berries.
Here's a close up of my rubber stamped image from Little Miss Muffet. I colored her with Copics and then used White Glitter Ritz on her hat pompom, her coat and on the top of the Christmas stocking she's holding. I added Glossy Accents to her candy cane.
The Design Team at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' have some inspiration to share with you for this challenge. Please take a moment and look at their creations! The prize this month is 2 digis from Flat Friends. I hope you'll join us since not only is there a prize, but you'll be building up your stash of cards that you'll be needing in just 197 days!
Hugs,
Gail

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun stocking - and the embossing on it is super. Very cute image, colored wonderfully, and just the right amount of glitz - and the candy cane looks yummy. If you hadn't admitted to gluing the top on backwards, no one would have ever noticed, you goofball . . . LOL !! Sweet holiday creation and you've added another to your 2015 stack.
