Elisabeth Bell Flowers For You

This sweet little image is by Elisabeth Bell named Laura Flowers for You. She's an older rubber stamp but still as sweet as can be. My favorite stamps are rubber stamps. I'm an old-time stamper and although I work with and like digital images, I love inking and stamping! The swirl on the side is by Taylored Expressions and I had a white daisy and it didn't look nice in white so I dyed it. My tip is: use ink refills to die the flowers to match your card. I added 3 brushed gold sequins with tiny pearls in the center at the end of each swirl (I dislike seeing the holes in the sequins) and all the yellow pearls are from my stash. The sentiment is by Whimsy and I used a round punch to cut it out.

 



The border die along the bottom is by Magnolia and the white, gray and yellow lace is from my stash. I attached a little metal flower charm with embroidery thread to the lace. The little purple rose in the center of my bow is glued on.

I rubber stamped my image and colored her with Copics and then cut her out with my Stitched Rectangles dies by Memory Box. I have both the Copics and the Distress Inks but have yet to be happy with 'painting' my images. I get much better blending with the Copics. I used my Sakura pen and applied glue on the butterfly and kitty's bow and then sprinkled Cool Glitter Ritz on it.
