Celebrate the new little one!

There's a new challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog this week and the topic is CELEBRATION!  I used this new image at The Paper Shelter image named Invencibles! The card I chose to make was a card to celebrate a new baby boy.


The baby feet silver charm was perfect for this card as was the clear blue flat backed marbles...I'm not sure what you'd call them, but they're very raised, but clear colored. The white die cut leaves on the side are a die by Poppy, and the two little flowers, pearl, ribbon and lace are from my stash. The two sentiments are from Stampin' Up.


I colored my image with Copics and I'm happy with how it came out. I'm back to using my Neenah Super Smooth paper and experienced no bleeding, even when I blended blended blended.  ;)  I used my glue pen and sprinkled my favorite glitter (Warm Glitter Ritz) on the ring of Saturn, the unicorn's horn, parts of his pink mane and tail, my little tyke's red cape, his sword and the stars.

    This is adorably cute, Gail . . . colored wonderfully and as always, coordinated everything well. Love that luscious lace that you actually parted with - omg !! Just the perfect amount of glitz added to it, and a lovely bow with the pearl center. This came together well, as all Lacey Lassy's cards do !!
