Happy Valentine's Day to My Valentine!

So, I suppose I can post this card now that it's so close to Valentine's Day and I don't believe my Valentine will ever come and look on my blog and find it. ;)  This is me. Yep, this little image from The Paper Nest Dolls is me. My hair is this color and I wear it long and with bangs..but I usually keep it all pulled back in a ponytail. I tried to make a card that my husband would recognize as me...guess I'll find out on Valentine's Day if my idea worked. 

I loved this paper and thought that using the red and pink would be a great combination. I used my set of nested ovals by Quik Cutz and the embossed and inked diecut on the side is by Marianne. I love the red felt heart border that is on a roll and came from a local craft store. My flowers are a combination from I Am Roses and Wild Orchid Crafts. Oh, the pink metal "MINE" heart in the bouquet is a charm with the ring cut off and it was silver but I wanted it pink so I colored it with my Copics.

I have a hidden Magnolia diecut tag that I embedded a little gold key with ultra thick embossing powder and I added some loose glitter and mica chips for shine within the embossing powder. This is the key to my heart.  Okay, everybody all together now, AWWWWWWWWW.  I used my Cuttlebug for all my die cuts.

This image is colored with Copics and I added some clear Wink of Stella to her bows, collar and striped socks for extra shine. I added Glossy Accents to the string of hearts. The little dots around my image are from my White Pearl Pen. I love fussy and fancy cards because I love embellishments!  If I ever gave my dear husband a CAS card, he'd wondered why I don't love him anymore.
