It's time for bed!

Another week has arrived, and with it brings a new challenge at The Paper Shelter.  The topic for this week is STARS AND/OR HEARTS. My image is from The Paper Shelter and her name is Let's go to sleep! I decided to make a card with hearts.

 

This card has a hidden message--see below. I was in a dilemma on where and how to put a little something to say since this card isn't square.  So, borrowing an idea from Julie Price, I did the 'hidden tag' trick. Thanks, Julie! The 3 little hearts on the tag are from a convention I attended in Mesa, Arizona. The silk ribbon is from May Arts Ribbon. It's pure silk and so soft! 

 



I used dies by Magnolia, Whimsy, Quik Kutz, Cheery Lynn and Go Kreate. The white paper doily is from a restaurant where I went and was given salad dressing on a dish with this doily under it. My first thought was: don't dirty that--I can use it! The papers are from my stash (and if you look closely, even my paper has heart shaped flowers on it) and the flowers are from Wild Orchid. The leaves among the flowers are a punch by Martha Stewart. I used my Quickie glue pen and coated each of the three different heart dies behind my image and then sprinkled Cool Glitter Ritz on each of them so they have a soft and pretty sparkle. I also put a little sparkle on the hearts on her pajamas! I'm loving my Glitter Ritz and any of the super fine glitters. It may go EVERYWHERE (remember, turn ceiling fans off when using fine glitter) but the super fine glitters have such a soft look.  Here's what my image looks up close and personal...don't you just love that little puppy's face?!
