Summer has arrived and here in Phoenix, Arizona that means that we spend more time inside. The thermostat on my back patio, in the shade, shows 107 F. That's still 15 degrees lower than it has been in past June months...when our heels got stuck in our asphalt streets. But, it's only June 8...there's still time for us to get to the point where we melt and puddle on the ground.
I saw an image a couple of days ago on a website and had to have it. The image is by Crafty Sentiments and it's used on their site with their logo. Here's the card I made with this sweet image named "Little Friends".
My three different design papers are by Doodlebug from the pad named Springtime, the diecut around the image is by Spellbinders, the flowers were made with a die by La-La Land, the leaves are a punch by Martha Stewart and the butterfly is a die by Elizabeth Craft Designs. The rest of the items are from my stash. Oh, and I colored my image with Copics.
So, on this hot Sunday, this is what I worked on. Guess I'll go do my house chores and laundry now...but it sure was nice to sit in my air conditioned craft room, with the ceiling fan on, watching a Law & Order marathon and make a card just for fun. Thanks for stopping by!
