Oh, how I love ribbon!

How did cardinals get to be the winter bird? Well, however they did, I'm glad because their color is beautiful on cards with snowy scenes. The challenge this month at the Sweet Stampin' challenge blog is RIBBONS. I used a double faced satin ribbon for my bow and a white rose flower button in the middle of the bow.

This rubber stamp is from Stampavie and it's the first time I've used it. I think it's one of the prettiest winter stamps I own. I used my new Spellbinders die for the frame and the poinsettias are also a Spellbinders die. The tree dies are by Magnolia and the evergreen branch die is by Poppy. I colored this image with Copics and used the lightest shade of blue to highlight around my cardinal.  The glitter around the poinsettias is Diamond Sparkles by PSX (in a bottle that looks just like Stickles). The rest of the glitter I used on this card is a white glitter glue by Recollections. Here's a close-up view of my image.
