Mr. Snowman

This digital image is from Gerda Steiner Designs. It was a freebie sent to me via e-mail and it was so cute that the minute I saw it, I set it up, printed it off and took it home to color. I've colored 3 of them and have all different color schemes for the cards by the color of their scarfs! My little bird is a sparrow--one of the birds we see here in Phoenix all of the time.

 

I used my giant Marvy punch on the snowman image. I used an assortment of dies on this card including Sizzix, Marianne Designs and Memory Box. When I sorted out some papers that I've been hoarding, I found these and decided I had to use them this year! I was generous with my Stickles, Gesso and Sno-Tek. My image is colored with Copics. I tried to make it seem like the lamp post was shedding the light on my snowman.  This shading thing...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. :)  Here's a close-up of my image.
