I've always loved fairy and pixie stamps. Coloring their wings has always been the highlight of coloring the image for me. This week the challenge at Sweet Stampin' is "Things With Wings". I purchased this rubber stamp at a convention in Mesa, Arizona in 2012, and don't know the name or brand of the stamp.
I colored her with Copics and practiced my "feathering" technique on her wings. I layered her wings to give them dimension and then accented them with Warm Glitter Ritz.
The butterfly and flower are hand crocheted. The yellow resin flower in the middle of the satin bow is by Prima. The leaves are a die by Poppy and the border die is by Magnolia. The rest of the card is made from my stash of craft supplies.
The weekly sponsor at Sweet Stampin' is Lili of the Valley who has donated a £10 voucher and our monthly sponsor is the Ribbon Girl donating a £10 voucher! The gals at Sweet Stampin' have made beautiful cards for our topic of "Things With Wings", so take a look and I'm looking forward to seeing your creations!
Thanks for looking and please leave a comment so I can visit your blog!
