I used a stamp by Lili of the Valley named "Meant To Be" along with an LOTV sentiment stamp and colored the image with Copics. I used dies by Magnolia, Spellbinders and Cheery Lynn. My paper is by Fab Scraps and the flowers are by Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. Each layer of my papers have been distressed and sewn. the rhinestones and lace are from my stash of supplies. Here's a picture of just the colored image.
The challenge this week at City Crafter challenge blog is to make a card and matching gift using the photo below as inspiration:
This photo reminded me of days long gone when those giant spools of woven ribbon and jute were used to decorate packages and the image I used reminded me of those days with the little girl in her hat, the boy in his suspenders and the sweetness of the moment! The scissors in the picture are so worn that it inspired me to distress my papers.
Thank you, Kirsty and the gals on the Design Team, for giving me the opportunity to be your Guest Designer on City Crafter this week!
Hugs,
Gail

ReplyDeleteHi Gail,
ReplyDeleteThe winners of the scrapbookstampsociety challenge have there number but also there name.
Only the top3 have numbers but I can put there name behind it.
Never thought of that.
But I see on several challenge the put only a name and than you must look also if it's you.
So we are not the only challenge.
Greetings Karin DT Coördinator.
