Haunted houses, pumpkins, cats, oh-my!

I was honored to be chosen as one of the Top 2 at the SKdigis FANtastic Linking Party for August and given the opportunity to be the Guest Designer for today, September 23, 2013!

Sonia of SKdigis was very generous and granted me any stamps I wanted to use for my card today. There were so many choices that it took me a couple of days to decide. I chose to do a Halloween project since it's late September. Here's my project:

I loved the pumpkins and cat at SKdigis. I chose 3 pumpkins and one cat, made them assorted sizes (aren't digital images wonderful?!) and colored them with Copics. I used the diecuts of the haunted house and large tree that my friend, Roxie, gave me and I cut out grass with my Fiskars punch and diecut the Sizzix fence from black paper. I glittered the fence and grass with black Stickles and outlined the house and tree. I used regular clear Stickles on my pumpkins faces and the yellow windows of the haunted house. I used a $1 stamp from Michael's for my sentiment and used orange Stickles on the tag cut out with a Sizzix die. The spider on the tag is a brad as is the bat flying around the tree.

This is a stair step card and I found the directions on the internet and it folds flat. It's an awesome fold and gave me the opportunity to use more than one digi! This card is going on display at my daughter's veterinarian hospital for October.

Thank you, Sonia and the Design Team, for giving me the opportunity to be your guest at SKdigis!
