Ski Jump by Lili of the Valley

The challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin'  is "Winter Sports". This includes so many fun things to do outside in the winter like skiing, ice skating, ice hockey, tobogganing, sledding, snowboarding, snowshoeing... Not that I do any of them anymore since moving to the desert in Phoenix, Arizona!  But this is a great topic and I'm sure there are tons of stamps out there that depict winter sports.  The image I used is from Lili of the Valley and it's named "Ski Jump". These LOTV images are beautifully detailed and are my favorites to color.

I used a die and matching stamp from Your Next Stamp for the Christmas bulbs at the top of the card. I colored this cute dog and boy with Copics and used 3-d white paint and then sprinkled Stampendous Crystal Snow White glitter on the paint to make the snow.  Here's a close-up of this cute little image and it's a better picture of this little guy and his best friend.

Our sponsor this month is Quixotic Paperie who is donating a generous £10.00 voucher!

The Design Team at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' have some great inspiration for you. Take a peek at their "Winter Sports" cards and then we'd love to see what you create!
