Valentines, hearts, sweet, love...

It's time to share with you a Valentine card that I made with beautiful lace hearts that I received as part of the Craft-Dee BowZ team. Thank you, Donna! These pink hearts are so pretty and I made this card with them.  I didn't use any stamps on this card! I embossed my background, use assorted heart die cuts and even a die cut of the word "love".

Here's a close-up of the triple looped bow I made with some silk seam binding. My little bow tool is the reason this pink seam binding bow is so pretty. If you don't have a bow tool yet, and you like putting bows on your projects, I urge you to take get one!  All these paper roses are from different stores so I can't give any one store credit. I used my little Ranger Distressing Tool on all my layers for these soft edges. My card is 6" x 6".

A Trunk Full Of Love

There's a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps challenge blog and it's ANYTHING GOES.  I'm loving these images from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I used two images on this card, Tine with flower and Trunk full of love sentiment. I really did try to go with a CAS card, but I couldn't leave it too bare. I have so many pretty rolls of washi tape that I never use and when I saw these rolls that matched my card...well, there goes the CAS idea of all white with the exception of the sentiment and elephant. And then I have a very large container of jewels, pearls, epoxy dots and metallic dots and so...that's when I really faltered. I couldn't resist using these pretty pink metallic dots.  I'd still consider this CAS since it's minimal embellishments and it is a flat card.

I colored my image with Copics and added a bit of Glossy Accents to her toenails and to the hearts in the sentiment.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is my official first post on the Little Miss Muffet Stamps Challenge Blog. Last week I participated in the "Inspiration" post on Facebook and now it's officially announced that I am a member of the LMMS GD Team. You'll be seeing my posts every Thursday for 7 whole months! I'm thrilled to have been invited to join the Team and hope you'll be inspired by my cards. Challenge 156 at LMMS Challenge Blog for the next 2 weeks is ANYTHING GOES.


For this card I used this adorable imaged named Marley Be Mine. I colored him with Copics and added just a touch of glitter on the heart he's holding. You might be thinking that this card looks a little plain compared to some of my creations, and you're right. I'm working very hard at being more versatile and creative. That doesn't mean I'm giving up my beautiful flowers, lace, pearls, jewels, die cuts, though!
