Gift bags

It's my Tuesday to post at Craft-Dee BowZ, and I'm thankful for the 'scheduling' feature on Blogger since I'm out of town at this time, having a white Christmas in Flagstaff, Arizona with my husband, daughter and our beagles. The challenge this month at Craft-Dee BowZ is ANYTHING GOES AND ADD A HANDMADE BOW. The team, however, likes a bit more of a challenge since we use bows all the time anyway, so our challenge was to decorate a box or bag and use the colors burgundy, evergreen and tulle. Our sponsor is Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More and I used this wonderful image called Cabin in the Woods. The name is a bit fitting, isn't it?!

I even made a gift tag for my gift bag. Thank you, Donna, for the base tag which I decorated!

The ribbon we had to use was awesome again this month. I used this dark red checkered ribbon for my bow. I made multi-sized loops using my bow tool and couldn't have done this with just 2 hands, so this bow tool was invaluable to me!

Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More is proud to sponsor this challenge. Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps and More, a division of I Did It Creations, was created and is owned by  Robyn Weinrib. Robyn offers a wonderful variety of digital stamps and digital papers, designed to meet the needs of all digital paper crafting addicts for every occasion. Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More is happy to award 3 digital stamps of the winner's choice to the winner of this challenge.

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and enjoyed time with family and friends.

                                                                                                Hugs,

A is for Autumn and Apples!

It's the 4th Tuesday in September and my day to be spotlighted on Craft-Dee BowZ challenge blog. I decided to make a shaker card, something I rarely do. I've stepped out of my comfort zone with this card!  I used this adorable image from Robyn's Fetish named Basket of Apples. Thank you, Donna, from Craft-Dee BowZ for the ribbon and those great red translucent beads that I used in my shaker!

And here's my red satin double looped bow. I've always loved ribbon on my cards and have more ribbon than I can use in my lifetime. And I've made bows for years, but I never made such pretty bows until I got my Craft-Dee BowZ bow maker. This little bow maker guarantees me great bows and I use it for every bow I make now. Whether it's a single looped bow or many loops...this little bow maker makes it easy as pie to create gorgeous bows.

Birds of a feather...

It's the fourth Monday of the month, and my turn to post on Craft-Dee BowZ challenge blog! It's so much fun each week to see what my teammates have come up with.  This month the team challenge, not your challenge, was Feathers, Fur or Frog Legs using an image from our sponsor, Robyn's Fetish.  I used this cute image named Birdie's Nest. Your challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ is ANYTHING GOES AND ADD A HANDMADE BOW!

We also had the challenge to use green and brown which wasn't too hard to do with a bird image, but then when I made my bird a sparrow, it was all brown. It was a brown bird sitting in a brown nest sitting on a brown branch and I felt like it was just a little too much brown, so I colored a blue bird that has a peach breast.
I colored my image with Copics and want to thank my best friend, Lillian, for sending me these leaves and swirl die cuts. I didn't have anything that looked like the leaves on the branches but Lillian did. Thanks, Lillian! I lucked out with having a bag of assorted colored feathers and the bird cage is a die by Poppy Stamps.  Here's a close-up of the image.

I colored my entire background with light blue chalk and then added some light blue outline around my image. Color. I love color and just green and brown was a killer for me. I always save my bow picture for last...why?  So that when you finish looking at my pictures, it's the last one you see and the best is always last! That's a brown fuzzy brad that I used in the center of my triple looped bow.

136 More Days...

What's in 136 more days?  CHRISTMAS! Are you working on your Christmas cards yet? You know how fast the time will go as soon as we get to October, right? This is a great reason to start your cards and join the new challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin' for our SNOW PEOPLE challenge. To be politically correct, we're calling all snow men and snow ladies, SNOW PEOPLE. I used this super cute snowlady named Bella da Snowlady from Robyn's Fetish for my card.

Snowmen are my favorite winter image and I love them. They're always happy and such fun to color since their clothing can be any colors!  Here's a close-up of this super looking snowman!

Flowers, Fleurs, Blumes, Fiores, Flors ...

Today is my day to post on Craft-Dee BowZ. Such fun that we each have our own Tuesday each month! The Design Team used the colors yellow, lavender and moss green this month. I used this beautiful image named Spring Cart from Robyn's Fetish, our sponsor.

I colored this image with my Zig watercolor markers and this was the first time I've used them. I can use some practice, but what better way to practice than with a flower image!!

The colors we used this month were perfect for me. ;) With Mother's Day approaching in May, I always make my mom a pretty card. Her favorite color is yellow and my dad's favorite color was purple and I know this card might make my mom a little sad for a moment since dad is in heaven now, but I thought she'd like to have their two favorite colors together. It took me a bit to find this paper in my stash and it's from a pad by Wild Rose. I used my Memory Box rectangle die and a die by Marianne for the ferns. The tags are stamps by Lili of the Valley.

Thank you, Donna at Craft-Dee BowZ, for this beautiful yellow sheer ribbon. It was the absolute perfect ribbon for this card being that it's so sheer and made a beautiful double bow. I made my double looped bow with my Craft-Dee BowZ Tool and left the tail on one side long so I could wrap it around my design paper. The yellow flat back smooth bubbles are from Queen & Co. The purple jewels in the corner are crystals that have a beautiful shine to them!

Bows, bows, bows!

It's the second Wednesday of the month and that means a new challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin'!  Our first challenge of the year and the challenge is BOWS. Your card MUST have a bow on it. It can be a bow on the image or a handmade bow. I used this adorable image named Rudolph Came to Town by Robyn's Fetish for my card.

I colored my image with Copics and added Glossy Accents to his nose and the berries on the wreath.  And for sparkle there's a dash of glitter on the poinsettias.  I used a wooden snowflake, adding tiny red jewels and my round sentiment is from Whimsy.

Our sponsor this month is Robin's Fetish who is generously offering three digital images of the winner's choice.

I hope you'll stop by Christmas at Sweet Stampin' and see the projects the team has made to inspire you and that you'll consider joining our challenge this month where the topic is BOWS.

I Meow You!

It's the second Monday of the month and time for a new challenge at The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog.  This month Challenge 95 is KRAFTY CUTIES (use kraft paper). and remember your card or project must be CUTE!!!  I used this adorable image from our sponsor Robyn's Fetish named Pussy Cat Luv.

I colored my image with Copics and glittered the hearts and her bow with Warm Glitter Ritz. The nesting circles dies are by QuicKutz, the bow with the flying hearts is by Memory Box, The kraft heart in the bottom right is a die by Cheery Lynn and the solid heart in the middle is by Nellie Snellen. I think what really sets this card off are the papers by Three Bugs in a Rug named Frisky.

We're sponsored this month by:

2 digi stamps of the winners choice
