Brrrrrrr...

It's my Tuesday to post a card I've made for the challenge of ANYTHING GOES WITH A HANDMADE BOW over at Craft-Dee BowZ.  For my card today I chose two images from Pink Gem Designs named Winter Chloe and Yule Log. Using the png files, I had her sit on the log.

I colored my image with Copics and used white snowy glitter. The snowflakes are made with Bo Bunny paint. The banners on the left side of the card were made with washi tape stuck on white paper and then cut out.

My bow is a triple looped bow and it tied just beautifully using my bow tool. Have you tried a bow tool to make your bows? It saves me time and money since every bow comes out great now. I no longer have wasted ribbon and I can make a great bow the first time I try with any ribbon!

The team has made some beautiful projects to inspire you to join our challenge this month at Craft-Dee BowZ where the challenge is always ANYTHING GOES AND ADD A HAND MADE BOW. I hope you've followed us each Tuesday for inspiration and you still have a few more days to enter our challenge!

Work, Rest or Play

Well, it's that time to announce the new challenge at The Cutie Pie challenge. This month the topic is WORK, REST OR PLAY. Your card needs to reflect one of those and if you're thinking, whaaat???  Please take a look at the cards the Design Team have created here. I used this really cute image of me (well it may not have been drawn to represent me but it reminds me of me...she even has brown eyes, gray hair and eyeglasses like me) by Pink Gem Designs. Her name is Gardening Molly.

I colored her with Copics and the little wood fence is just part of a 12" piece I bought at Hobby Lobby years ago. Here's a close up of the image.

Our sponsor this month is Pink Gem Designs who are offering 2 single digital images to the winner.

I hope you'll take a look at the projects by the Design Team at the Cutie Pie Challenge this month as they are always cute since we are The Cutie Pies! The challenge for you is WORK, REST OR PLAY!

Me and my snow buddy

It's that special time again...the second Monday of the month which means there's a new challenge at The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog! Now, you might be thinking: oh no, another Christmas challenge...but it doesn't have to be since the challenge is CUTE BINGO!  I used this adorable image named Angelica With Snowman from Pink Gem Designs. I love making cute cards like this...I love lots of detail and I enjoy experimenting with my supplies. I think my cutest cards are those that are girly or feminine.

The snowflake border on the left side of the card and the separate layered snowflake are dies by Joy and I put white pearls in the center and then applied Glossy Accents all over the snowflakes to give them some strength and to be a little heavier in weight than the pearlescent Bazzill paper was. I want to mail this card out and needed to be sure it would make it and still look nice when it gets to where it's going.

The mittens are a die by Memory Box and I applied white flocking to the cuffs and Stampendous Glitter Embossing Powder to the mittens. The sentiment tags are by Lili of the Valley and the little metal snowflake hanging from them is from my stash. The poinsettias are from I Am Roses and the pink filler is from Wild Orchid Crafts. I used a leaf punch by Martha Stewart to fill in around the flowers and filler. The silver ribbon is from a spool from JoAnn's.

The die cut around my image is by Sue Wilson. The assortment of pearls and gems I've used are all from Queen & Co. which is my most favorite place to buy shiny and pretty embellishments.

My image is colored with Copics and then I applied Sparkle n Sprinkle Crystal Ice Glitter to the snow and snowman. The glitter on my little girl's coat and earmuffs is Glitter Ritz Cool Glitter. I adore glitter, can you tell?! I know it's hard to see, but can you tell I outlined my image in a gray and then softened it using my blender Copic pen?

Below is the Bingo board for you to follow. Remember, your project needs to have 3 across, or down, or diagonally, and you must state what the items are in your post that make CUTE BINGO. And, don't forget that your card as to be CUTE!!!!!

I made Bingo on my card with:  Use a Punch/Cute Stamp/Use a Charm.
