I recently treated myself to a set of Polychromos pencils and I used them to color this image. I used paper by Carta Bella. The lace and snowball edging across the bottom are from my stash as is the metal snowflake charm. My heart pearl ribbon buckle with the ribbon in the right corner of the card are both from The Ribbon Girl. The die cut around the image is a 'frame' die cut by DieNamics.
After completing the coloring, I sprinkled some Stampendous Shabby White Frantage embossing powder over the image background. The glitter on Father Christmas' coat and hat is Stampendous Snow Glitter applied over Glossy Accents. (I like the 3-D look of the 'fur' on the hat and coat so instead of using glue that would dry flat, I used Glossy Accents which dries raised.) I used some cream color chalk and shaded around my image. The cream string of pearls tied within my lace bow are from The Ribbon Girl and the lace is from my stash. I added a little cheesecloth behind my image, too. I'm not sure where I acquired that perfect burgundy heart button in the middle of the lace and pearl bow. Here's my bow.
