Little Mermaid

I've been invited to be a Guest at Crafting By Designs for the challenge SUMMERTIME. I used this super cute image by A Day For Daisies named Ocean's Little Girl.

I printed the image on watercolor paper and then watercolored her using my Zig watercolor markers. The seashell die on the bottom also embossed so I kept the shells in the die and inked the embossed parts with a dauber and some ink. I used a white pearl paint pen for the dots over the seashells. Lots of glitter on my seaweed, and my favorite kind of glitter: Cool Glitter Ritz. The 'net' die cut is from Marianne Designs.

Thank you to Doris at Crafting By Designs for inviting me to be their guest for this challenge and thank you to the team for their support!  I hope you'll join in the challenge of SUMMERTIME at Crafting By Designs!

Christmas Ornaments

Hello and welcome to a new month! Today we have a new challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ and it's ANYTHING GOES AND ADD A HANDMADE BOW.  Our sponsor this month, is A Day For Daisies. I was given this adorable image named Christmas Pixy Two.

I colored my image with Copics, used a Martha Stewart holly punch border and a corner die cut.

I made my stickpin using glass beads to carry on the theme of the ornament in this little Pixy's hands. My double looped bow was a breeze to make using my Craft-Dee BowZ tool. I get the perfect bow every time and for those who see my cards and don't realize how I make such pretty bows, take a look here.

Our sponsor is A Day For Daisies and they will provide a $12 gift card to the winner of this challenge!

A Day For Daisies provides themed categories of over 3000 digital illustrations and a fast growing line of new clear polymer stamp sets, including fairy tales and magical mermaids, cutie kids, vintage illustrations, sentiments and lovely designs for all occasions!

The entire team (all four of us) post our project on the first of every month using the sponsor of the month's images. Please take a look at the fabulous creations done this month at Craft-Dee BowZ blog. We'd love to see you join our February challenge where ANYTHING GOES AND ADD A HANDMADE BOW!
