Time flies!

It's a new month...again. As I get older, each month seems to fly by faster than the last. My mother warned me about this when I was a child and I didn't believe her. She said: when you get older you just wait and see how fast time flies by. Now I'm telling my child that and she believes me as much as I believed my mother. Some things never change.

So, with August 1 here and a new challenge of ANYTHING GOES AND ADD A HAND MADE BOW at Craft-Dee BowZ, I'd like to share a card with you. The image is from Scrapberry and was a present from my best friend, Lillian. I fell in love with the Scrapberry stamps because they are so cute. This image is named Bunny Princess.

I colored this with Copics and added some beautiful sequins for sparkle. My flowers are a combination from I Am Roses, The Ribbon Girl and byThita. I added a row of pretty lavender roses to the center of my ribbon behind my image. I'm distraught at how my 'hello friend' sentiment looks "foggy". I'm not sure why this happened since I used the proper glue with the acrylic oval. Here's a close-up of my image.

I always save the best for last, so, here's a picture of my bow. I couldn't have made this without my Craft-Dee BowZ tool!  The ribbon is on the wide side so I folded the edges over when I made the middle knot, and I'm so happy with how it looks. I needed 2 hands to do this bow, so having this little bow tool that sat on my table and took up a tiny amount of space, was awesome. If you have a bow tool, do you use it? I don't make any bows without it since my bows come out perfect every time and I don't waste ribbon or wrinkle it up trying to make a good bow anymore. Ready? Here's the bow!

The Team at Craft-Dee BowZ have made some wonderful creations for you to look at and, we hope, inspire you to add a bow to your project and enter it in our challenge. Each month we have a new challenge and it's always the same for you...ANYTHING GOES AND ADD A HANDMADE BOW. I hope you'll join us this month for our challenge!
