Pretty in Pink

It's hot where I live. At the time of writing this, it's 110 outside in the Arizona desert. Why do we live here? Well, because I never have to shovel sunshine! I was born and raised in Connecticut and dreaded the winters with the icy snow. Now I dread the summers in Arizona and burning my hand opening my car door! While trying to stay cool, I colored this adorable Elisabeth Bell stamp. The one thing about Elisabeth's stamps and images is that they are always cute, and I like cute!

I love the colors pink and green together, and this paper pack from Wild Rose is awesome! The die cut around my stamped image has been embossed with white ink and then white glitter embossing powder and I used glitter on top of white puffy paint on the trim of my little image's coat and hat. I used a clear acrylic tag by Hodge Podge over my sentiment for additional dimension and the poinsettias are from I Am Roses. The stamens are from The Ribbon Girl. The flat backed white glitter dots are from Michael's and I also used frosted white flat backed pearls. And I love glitter, so I've glittered my snowflake die cut, the snow on the ground and on the tips of my flowers with Cool Glitter Ritz.

Here's a picture of her close-up. I love coloring red hair, too!

Thanks for stopping by and looking at this Christmas card and I hope that you're having a wonderful summer!
                                                                                     Hugs,
                                                         Gail
