Where do you live? In the city, a suburb or out in the country? No matter where, I bet everyone wishes for some peace and quiet sometimes! Today begins the new challenge at The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog and the topic is ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY. Your card or project needs to be designed around escaping to the country.
Our sponsor this month is 2 Cute Ink and we've used these adorable stamps in our posts. Thank you, 2 Cute Ink for letting me use this image named Sunflower Girl.
I've colored my image with Copics and I colored the sky background with blue chalk. The clouds are die cuts from My Favorite Things and I used double stick adhesive on them and applied white flocking. I used a watering can die cut by Impression Obsession, a fence die cut by Marianne Designs and an octagon punch by Fiskars for the bumblebee hive. The flowers are from byThita and the 3-D bumblebees are by Jolee.
Here's what the octagons look like mounted on black paper and then clipped around them.
Our sponsor, 2 Cute Ink, has so many cute images at the on-line store. Take a peek and I'm sure you'll find one you just have to have! The winner of this challenge gets to choose 2 images of his/her choice from the on-line store!

Your creation is adorable, Gail. The sunflower girl is colored beautifully, and I just love those octagons depicting the bees and flowers. The sprinkler can and fence are perfect diecuts to coordinate with your theme. Great clouds and sky, along with the cute butterflies. Definitely country living at its finest!
