A Trunk Full Of Love

There's a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps challenge blog and it's ANYTHING GOES.  I'm loving these images from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I used two images on this card, Tine with flower and Trunk full of love sentiment. I really did try to go with a CAS card, but I couldn't leave it too bare. I have so many pretty rolls of washi tape that I never use and when I saw these rolls that matched my card...well, there goes the CAS idea of all white with the exception of the sentiment and elephant. And then I have a very large container of jewels, pearls, epoxy dots and metallic dots and so...that's when I really faltered. I couldn't resist using these pretty pink metallic dots.  I'd still consider this CAS since it's minimal embellishments and it is a flat card.

I colored my image with Copics and added a bit of Glossy Accents to her toenails and to the hearts in the sentiment.

    The verse is so appropriate with this cute elephant, that, of course, you HAD to pair them together. I know what you mean about being faced with clear card areas that just make your fingers itch to embellish a bit more, and then more . . . well, you get the picture. Your use of washi tape in this way is outstanding, Gail. Excellent coloring/shading of this loving elephant.

    This is precious! I am stunned by the beautiful shading of the elephant, and the washi tape makes a perfect accent. Love that sentiment, too. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Jo's Scrap Shack this week.

    Adorable! I have a million rolls of washi tape (give or take a few) and I never think to use it and then I see cute cards and try to remind myself for the next time! I love it!
