Autumn is a special time

It's November already and that means a new challenge at Craft-Dee BowZ challenge blog! As you might know, our challenge is ANYTHING GOES AND INCLUDE A HAND MADE BOW each month. Easy peasy and since this is such a simple challenge for the Design Team, we often challenge ourselves. This month we're using autumn colors and fall foliage. Remember, you only have to add a hand made bow to your project to enter our challenge!  Crafty Friends Challenge has asked what's my favorite color and that's easy for me to do. This card is definitely my favorite autumn swatch. I love the orange/rust with the gold and green.

I used some clear Wink of Stella on the bells on the hats of my little tyke and the bird, but it doesn't photograph well. I used the technique Polished Stone and made the paper for my leaves and the scallop base under my sentiment. I didn't add any metallic to my paper like the video shows and I used re-inkers by Ranger in the colors rust, lettuce green and yellow.

And here is the awesomist, bestest part of this card....this bow. Ever spend forever to get a bow to come out just right?  I don't! I use my handy Craft-Dee BowZ tool and this bow came out perfect the very first time. I mean, this double looped bow is one of my best. Thank you, Donna, at Craft-Dee BowZ for sending me this beautiful autumn ribbon!

I've had the rubber stamp below for around 20 years (I was 9 when I got it--hahaha). Since it's an 'autumn' stamp, I only get to use it a limited number of times each year, but I try to use it every year. I love how the stamp has the acorn and oak leaves that I can color to match the outside of my card. And, the sentiment is really nice, too. ;) I don't normally show the inside of my cards, although I finish every single one as I make the outside, but this one I had to share with you!
