I've got mail!

I'm a rubber stamper. I use digitals, but I love to rubber stamp. Maybe it's because I'm old and gray...and that was the way we made cards for many years before we all owned computers. This little image is an old Elisabeth Bell image. She's old enough that I can't tell you much about her because I can't find her on the Elisabeth Bell site. And, I just realized that she doesn't have the Elisabeth Bell initials and year she was released down in the bottom of the image, which shows you she's not a new stamp!

I colored this sweetie with Copics and as you can see, I added Glossy Accents to the hearts on her shirt and headband and the heart on her envelope. My papers are by Joy and I love the soft pastels of the greens and pinks and all the different small sized patterns!  I used 4 patterned papers: the light green background with the pink flowers on it; a print of light and darker pink on top of that; green polka dot paper as my third layer and pink polka dot paper for the hearts in the La-La Land banner...and I used the solid green paper, too.  So I have 5 different papers on my card.

The oval around my image is one of my nesting set by Quic Kutz and the green paper die cut behind her is a die by Marianne. The banner is a die by La-La Land, my pretty die cut corners are from Whimsy, I can't remember who the butterfly die cut is by and I covered the entire butterfly in Glossy Accents and then sprinkled white iridescent fine glitter by The Rubber Café all over it. The sentiment tag is from a set by Lili of the Valley that I've had for a couple of years now and love them! The pretty pink and green jewels, as well as the pearls, are from Queen & Co. The little charm hanging from my pink seam binding bow is a mother-of-pearl heart. My flowers and leaves are from Wild Orchid and Magnolia.

Oh, as you read this, you can see the butterfly right above this sentence and all the gorgeous shine that Rubber Café glitter gave it. I didn't make this card as a Design Team assigned card...this one I made just because I wanted to use this sweet image that I ran across in my Elisabeth Bell stamp notebook. It was nice to use whatever colors I wanted, with whatever supplies I wanted, and I think I'll be doing that more in the future!
