And second, this is my last challenge as a member of the The Paper Shelter Design Team. I was invited to the join this Team two full years ago and have enjoyed it so much! After two years, though, I think it's time to give someone else the opportunity to enjoy being on the Team and the beautiful art work of Pedro and Veronica who are the artists behind every image at The Paper Shelter.
For my last Design Team card, I've used this sweet image named Spring in the Heart. I think this is an awesome image for a birthday card since she's eating cake. And since I love chocolate, my little image's cake has chocolate frosting!! Now I don't know if it's true or not, but someone once told me that birthday cake doesn't have any calories. I think that must be true since who would ever lie about something like that!
I've used dies from CandiBean, Spellbinders, Marianne and La-La Land. I applied Stampendous white chunky embossing powder to the view master slide die cut and then applied the pink jewels. The banner was sponge inked and then I applied Ranger Crackle Accents and while it was still wet, I sprinkled iridescent glitter by Rubber Café on it. This is the first time I've used the Ranger Crackle Accents and it's so neat how it cracks after it's dry! The pink and white pearl swirls are from Prima. I punched out my sentiment from Whimsy with my Nesting set of Creative Memories punches and the papers are from Nellie Snellen.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again for the last time...if you use an image from The Paper Shelter, the prize is an awesome $30 voucher. If you win the drawing and you've used an image by another company, the prize is three digital images of your choice.
I'd like to say a special thanks to Marie and Shirley, the team leaders at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog, for their kindness over the past two years while I was on the Team. I've enjoyed being on this Team and wish them and my teamies the very best! They are super talented and it's been an honor to be with them all. Thank you, Pedro and Veronica, for sharing your beautiful art work with me and I will treasure each and every image you've given me. I look forward to receiving the posts of new images you've designed and I know I will always be a customer of yours!
Many hugs to my TPS family,
