After coloring this sweet image I had second thoughts on the colors I chose for the hat and coat. But, sometimes it's not until something is completely done when you look at it and think: I should have.... So, I hope this doesn't make anyone cringe.
The snowflakes and snow on the ground were made with white paint and then I sprinked Martha Stewart white glitter sprinkles on it to give it some dimension and texture. The glitter on the coat and hat are Star Dust Stickles. That pretty poinsettia is by Jolee and I added some tiny gold sprinkles in the center of it. The big gold swirl is one of many in a package I got from Michael's and the gold braiding across the bottom is from my stash. I used flat back gold self-adhesive metal brads in the corners and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and punched out with a punch by EK Tools.
Thanks so much to Doris and the Design Team at Crafting by designs for the opportunity to join them this week for the GET READY FOR CHRISTMAS challenge!
Hugs,
Gail
