Girly Girl Shopping

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog. The topic is one of my favorites of all times.  Please make a GIRLY card. I used this image named Spring Trends by The Paper Shelter. I love this image and it reminds me of my sister who loves to shop and is always dressed stylishly. I think I'm going to save this card for her next birthday!

I loved making this card...it contains everything I love: lace, pearls, flowers, and although it doesn't have a 'ribbon', I did use some pretty off-white embroidery thread and made my own little bow around the stem of the flowers. I used an embossing die by Marianne, used chalk on the embossed area and then applied Ranger Glossy Accents to it. The sentiment is by Stampin' Up, as is the punch I used to cut it out. My lacy butterfly, flowers and dew drops are from the Ribbon Girl. I have two different types of lace, layered, on the side of my card and both are from my stash.

I added washi tape in the bottom corner of my image and the dots around the image are made with my Viva Decor Pen and then I used a pink Copic to give them a touch of color. I put a touch of Warm Glitter Ritz on the lacy ruffle of her shirt.
