The larger jungle leaf is a Sizzlit diecut and the small green vines are a die by Spellbinders. The yellow flowers were white and I colored them with my Copics and used their stems as tendrils by wrapping them around a wood skewer. I then inked the flowers with a touch of yellow glitter by Art Glitter. The dragonflies are a die by Elizabeth Craft Designs and I colored the brown overlay with my brown Wink of Stella and used brown pearls from Queen & Co. for their heads. The tag sentiments are by Lili of the Valley. The bow is a three loop and I used my Craft-Dee BowZ bow maker which was great since holding all those loops in my fingers and tying it would have been difficult.
I enhanced my digital image by adding Ranger Distressed Pink Glitter to her hat, shirt and socks, along with the bow on the baby monkey. I also added some Ranger Distressed Blue Glitter to her shoulder bag. I added White Flower Soft to the green on the tree and used refill inkers and a cotton swab to multi-color the Flower Soft.
The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog Team have had a great time this week picking a favorite digital image to use for this challenge. I think you'll be delighted with the projects made this week to inspire you to join the challenge! As usual, our wonderful sponsors, The Paper Shelter, have provided us with this awesome prize.
Please stop by the Challenge Blog, take a look at the projects, and then head to The Paper Shelter to buy an image you can use in this challenge to win a $30 voucher! You'll never be disappointed with the images at The Paper Shelter since you can color it yourself, or use the colored image and/or background (like I did), for your card! What a fun card, Gail! I like that you used the pre-coloured image and then added glitter - it looks so sparkly! Your bow looks fabulous and so do your die cuts! I like how you coloured the flower to match your card and then added some sparkle there too! I think I'm going to enter the challenge! I have a new TPS image to use LOL!

Cute tropical card, Gail, and those diecut leaves coordinate beautifully, as do the dragonflies. Even though you used a pre-colored digital, you still "spiced" it up some. Great idea to use flower soft on the leaves and to give it your own shading. Pretty bow and once again, the flowers add to it, along with your spiral-ly additions. Cute and adorable, just like your tags state!!
