When one door closes ...

A quote from Alexander Graham Bell: "When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."

It is with this quote I begin this post because I am stepping down from the Crafty Sentiments Design Team. I have had another door open for me and on January 1, 2015, I will be one of five designers on the Craft-Dee BowZ Design Team. I am truly honored for the invitation.

This will be my last card made as a member of the Crafty Sentiments Design Team and I'd like to thank them all for their support and encouragement. I have loved working with the images created by Suzette of Crafty Sentiments Designs.

The challenge this week at Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog is ANYTHING GOES. I suspect we will have thousands of entries (I mildly exaggerate) and encourage you to use an image from Crafty Sentiments Designs since there is always another drawing award given to those who do!

The image I have used for this challenge is named Christmas Seasons and, of course, it's an image from our sponsor Crafty Sentiments Designs. 

I loved using this dark red and dark green on this card. It's traditional but not the bright shades of the colors. The image was more old-fashioned to me with the way this little gal is dressed so I chose the more muted reds and greens with only the poinsettia and bow being bright red.

The prize for this challenge is a voucher from Crafty Sentiments Designs.
