Having Fun in the Snow!

What kids don't have fun out in the snow!  I loved this stamp when I saw it. For one thing, I don't have many little boy stamps or images since I prefer to make girly type cards. But even I saw the cuteness in this little boy and snowman! The other reason I loved this stamp and had to have it was because it reminded me of the traditional song Frosty the Snowman, which I consider a 'happy' song. I love the bucket on his head instead of a top hat and I made his buttons, eyes and mouth black to represent coal. Blue Christmas cards remind me of winter and have a 'cool' feeling to them, which makes the blues my favorite winter color.

The stamp is from Crafty Sentiments Designs and the name of this stamp is Having Fun. The Design Team at Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog have created some wonderful cards for this challenge topic of CHRISTMAS.

I used a snowflake border die across the top by Memory Box and the two separate snowflakes are a Whimsy die and that's a clear snowflake button with the back cut off glued in the middle of the snowflake. The snowman in the middle of my satin bow is a button from Dress It Up which I cut off the back and glued it on. I used chunky white embossing powder for the snowflakes falling and Cool Glitter Ritz all over my snowman using a glue pen. The snow at the base of the snowman was done with clear 3-D paint and then I sprinkled White Glitter Ritz over it. The fur and pom-pom on my image's hat is done with white 3-D paint. My sentiment is from CardZ TV and I used a Stampin' Up punch on it.
