Easter and Spring

When I think of  Easter and Spring, I think of pastels so making a pretty card is easy. I got my first Little Miss Muffet stamp this past winter and have just now colored her up. Here she is, gathering Easter eggs.

This little image is colored with Copics and she's mounted on a piece of pink glitter paper cut with a Spellbinders die.  My papers are from our local scrapbook store and I don't know who made them. The sentiment and punch are from Stampin' Up. The lace is from a local fabric/lace outlet and that's a button in the middle of the bow. I hung a cute metal yellow enameled butterfly from the lace under the bow. All of my flowers on this card are from Wild Orchid (if you don't own stock in the company, get some since with my purchases alone, you will get dividends). I glittered every flower with Aleen's tacky glue and Denami Design glitter (being a crow in a former life...I love shiny and sparkly). I used a Martha Stewart punch for my flowers' leaves and I made my two stick pins. The pink pearls in the corner are from that giant sheet of pink pearls from my BFF Lillian that I've talked about in previous posts that I cherish and will be able to use for a long time!  

I liked making this Spring/Easter card because of the papers and colors. The soft pastels and I get along well and when you see a card with bright colors on my blog, THOSE cards were a real challenge! I wish everyone a wonderful Easter, and if you don't celebrate that holiday, I hope you have a great Spring.
