This image is by Bugaboo and I've found they have many digital stamps that are for tropical winters. I've used them on previous cards...see here and here. I like these images since I live in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona USA where we don't have traditional winter weather of ice and snow. I used a palm tree die by Sizzix and a Sizzlit die of a plumeria flower. The tickets in the corner are a die with matching stamp set by Whimsy. My paper is by Stampin' Up.
My Santa has gotten a bit of a sunburn although he did put sunscreen on his nose. No one realizes how strong the sun is in the winter time, including Santa! I used WOW! glitter on his beard and a touch of Star Dust Stickles on the water. My Santa believes this is the most wonderful time of the year as he sits backs and floats around in his tropical paradise.

How cute and tropical is this -- just wish I could be there to join him right about now, since we're in the MINUS figures, temperature-wise here . . . which occurs WAY too frequently for my liking!! The background paper is adorable and I love that coconut tree -- it coordinates SO well. Even the flowers look tropical, and Santa, well, he's still adorable, even though a bit sunburnt - hope he gets well rested before taking flight again in December, 2014 !!! What a fabulous creation . . . I just might have to enter this challenge . . . thanks for the shove !!
