Happy Birthday, Lillian!

Well, it's a big day for my BFF Lillian in Owosso, Michigan. Today she is one year younger than she will be next year. I like looking at it like that :)  So, Lillian, this card is for you and the US Mail has delivered a box to you already and when you open it today, this is what's on top!

Pink is Lillians' favorite color....so here are enough pinks that could make someone's teeth ache. This is a Whimsy digital image and I colored her with Copics. I used a Memory Box butterfly die and put frantage on it and accented the body with gold beads. I used a La-La Land butterfly corner die, and Spellbinders dies along with a Martha Stewart border punch.

I used Star Dust Stickles on the lace of her dress and Warm Glitter Ritz on her wings.

Lillian is a thoughtful and caring person and donates hundreds of cards each year to different organizations who supply cards to kids in hospitals. I won't be naughty and put her e-mail address here so you bombard her with Happy Birthday e-mails, but I will tell you that her blog is:  Lillian's Leisure. Her e-mail is on her Profile. Feel free to head over there and wish her a very Happy Birthday!

                                                                                 Hugs,
                                                                                 Gail

  2. Love this card. So pretty. I had to run and check out what frantage was. I had never heard of it. That butterfly is gorgeous! I have some frantage on my Amazon wish list now.

  3. All the pink is so pretty and you can never have too much as far as I am concerned! The combo of actual lace and lacy die cuts is gorgeous and your butterfly/flower embellies co-ordinate so beautifully with the image and DP :-)
    Big hugs, Kat x

  7. Hi Gail! I'm fluttering over here to thank you for the incredibly sweet comment you left me last week on my Mountain Lily card for 7 Kids. You brought such a smile to my heart! Coming here, I see that you are filled with beauty.. and that beauty translates to your lovely creations. This card for Lillian is filled with so many wonderful details and I'm not surprised one bit that she adores it! Each element is gorgeous and you've colored up this cutie pie beautifully. I'm so happy that you and Lillian have such a special friendship.. you are both truly blessed. :o) Have a sparkly Monday and I look forward to seeing more of your creations! (Including when you color up sweet Mountain Lily again! She is a new favorite of mine!) :o)

    Hugs and blessings!
