Lili of The Valley - Winter Fairy

I have a lot of stamps, and a good portion of them are Lili of the Valley. Their designs are sweet and very detailed. This little Winter Fairy by LOTV is one of my favorites and I've been enjoying coloring her dress different colors, but I think the red is my favorite. I used one diecut on this card, the snowflake wreath by Memory Box. The rest of the card is made with items I've had in my craft room for longer than I'd like to admit. I'm happy with the striped paper and the candy cane embellishment...the look is so festive, although the card has so much black on it.


My best friend, Lillian, is encouraging me to get off my duff and get involved in challenges again. I had gone on a break for a couple of months and to keep her happy I'm entering this card in the Lili's Little Fairies challenge of Christmas in July. :)

    This little gal is as cute as can be and that's some mighty fine colouring and design. I love what you did with her wings and the papers and button are perfect.

    It does seem odd making Christmas cards in this lovely sunny weather! Love the colour scheme - the red and black are so stylish. Love the image of course - anything LOTV is fab and your colouring is wonderful :-)
