Merry Christmas!

I sat today, relaxed and decided to take some time for me. With all the holiday preparations it was nice to sit and create. I still have work to be done, but I'll think about it tomorrow.

I treated myself to a new "around the page" snowflake punch set as well as a tree, oval border AND holly dies these past few weeks. I have a friend who sent me some crocheted flowers and I put a pink rose on top of the crochet flower. I have this adorable stamp by Elisabeth Bell and decided she needed to see ink. I'm going to enter this card in the following challenges:  Elphine House Holiday Tic-Tac-Toe (diecuts, flowers, punches) and Paper Shelter Anything Goes and  Sweet Stampin Seeing Double (2 die cut trees).

and here's a little closer view

Thanks for looking at my blog and for any comments that you leave. I hope you all have a safe and wonderful Christmas.

  3. How precious is this - and super great that you've been able to treat yourself to some new diecuts - woohoo !! Very pretty image and colored up beautifully. Love the lacey look to the flower by using the crocheted one for the background. A most Merry Christmas to you also, Gail !! Good luck on winning at least one of the challenges you've entered!

  4. Merry Christmas Gail, don't you just love it when you treat yourself to a few new things to craft with. No matter how much we have there's always something new out there to make this crazy addiction more fun. This little card you made today is super cute... Always love images with kitties cuz it reminds me of my daughter who LOVES them. She once moved to a house that had several stray cats outside that would run everytime you opened the door. She put fresh food & water out & soon had a whole litter eating out of her hand. I love the new die you used & that MS punch ...your cards always put a smile on my face as I know they were made with love not because you HAVE TO...
